Caring for your Bar Stools
If you own a pub or restaurant, chances are you will also own bar stools. You will probably be more than aware that bar stools need to be extremely hard wearing so that they can withstand frequent use. This means it is important to do whatever you can to keep your bar stools in good condition so you get as much use out of them as possible: caring for them now will definitely pay off in the long run.
You will probably have to clean your bar stools at some point, and it is important that you use the right cleaning solution for the type of bar stool you have. For instance, you can get bar stools that are made out of metal or wood, as well as seats covered in leather, velvet or other fabric. Make sure you use appropriate cleaning solvents to keep them in top condition.
If you have gas lift bar stools, you should also keep an eye on the pneumatic cylinders that operate the gas lift mechanism. These can run out of gas from time to time, so if they do they will need to be replaced or else your bar stools will be stuck in the same position.
Another thing to check is that your bar stool is still sitting firmly on the floor; if they seem to be a little bit wobbly then you might want to check the positioning of the legs in case they have shifted and need to be moved back. Early action will help to prevent further damage in the future, so it is definitely worth taking action if you notice any issues.
